He won all 4 HC slams in this period, 7/8 HC masters in which he participated and also YEC in 2006. Just insane numbers!

Were the 2 losses against Nalbandian and Murray?
Federer also lost 2006 Dubai final to Nadal. So that's three losses on hard, not two.
Rogi also lost in 2005 Madrid.
Well if you count not playing as a loss...

I think the OP is right, as the match against David Nalbandian was played on carpet, he only lost to Nadal and Murray during this period on HC so 2 is correct.

Rogi also lost in 2005 Madrid.
I don't think he played Madrid in 2005.

Nope, it was indoor HC.
Yup, silly me, I thought that was 2006. I'm getting old
Not far off Nadal's clay record from April 2005 to May 2009.
Most competitive surface and he totally owned everyone
He went 24-0 on grass during this period, too. All in all 173-9 in 2005/2006.
Just curious. How many times he faced Rafa?

During the period the OP posted:

3 times(Miami 2005, Dubai 06, YEC 06). Federer won 2 of those. Rafa won in Dubai
