Allez PJB :rocker2:

There should be some sort of livescore for this event... :(

And all this time, I thought Christophe and Olivier were in same team

The website says there is going to be some livescoring for the final ("Résultats des rencontres à suivre en temps réel").
I hope so, it was very annoying during the qualifying rounds, they really took their time to put the results online.

Any news about the players who are going play? Do you know if Gasquet is playing?
Monfils said he will be there, Paulo & Co. are going to play, they already played the qualifying rounds, but I have no idea for the other ones (Rochus, etc.)

Draw tomorrow at 18:30

The semi-finals (start tomorrow at 11:00):
PJB - AS Bondy
TC Lille - AS Patton
Gasquet, Monfils, Benneteau, PHM, Mahut and Llodra are there for the PJB! :rocker2:
The website doesn't even mention who is playing for the other teams since everybody only cares about the PJB in France.

Edit: I listened to the audio interviews, but they don't say either who is there.
The guy from the AS Bondy keeps complaining that all his players are so weak in comparison to the other teams, I suppose Olivier Rochus isn't playing (he didn't play the qualifying rounds either and I know he didn't came for the final last year). Christophe Rochus is there, he already played the first rounds.

I forgot to say it's on clay, btw.

AS Patton has quite a strong team there...

Anyway, does the site provide a livescore? I can't find it. :smash:

No, I can't find it either, I guess they meant that they will report the result after each match (and not 8 hours later like they used to do during the first rounds).

The website only says that the matches Monfils-Elseneer, Llodra-Knowle, Economidis-Kohlschreiber and Friedl-Saulnier have already started.

The semi-final PJB-Bondy is a borefest, as expected:
MONFILS Gaël b. ELSENEER Gilles 6/4 - 6/3
LLODRA Michaël b. KNOWLE Julian 6/4 - 6/1
MATHIEU Paul-Henri b. SAOUDI Slimane 6/0 - 6/1
(PJB-Bondy 3-0, Mahut-Dupuy playing now, Mahut is having problems because of a thigh injury)

Semi-final TC Lille-AS Patton:
KOHLSCHREIBER Philipp b. ECONOMIDIS Konstantinos 7/5 - 6/1
FRIEDL Leos b. SAULNIER Cyril 4/6 - 6/4 - 6/2
(Patton-Lille 1-1, Cipolla-Gicquel and Stoppini-Galvani playing now)

They do give some in-match results:

OK, thanks. The captain of the team says indeed in the interview that 3 of his players withdrew yesterday because of injuries, that's why they had such a weak team.

PJB won 5-0  , they only lost a set because Mahut had an adductor problem (he probably won't play tomorrow):
GASQUET Richard b. DUPUIS Antony 6/2 - 6/1
MAHUT Nicolas b. DUPUY Baptiste 5/7 - 7/5 - 6/1

GICQUEL Marc b. CIPOLLA Flavio 6/3 - 4/6 - 6/4
GALVANI Stefano b. STOPPINI Andrea 6/3 - 2/6 - 6/4
(AS Patton-TC Lille 3-1)
Christophe Rochus must beat Vliegen now to give his team a chance.

Christophe Rochus must beat Vliegen now to give his team a chance.
Rochus saves two matchpoints and beats Vliegen 5/7 - 6/4 - 7/6, they're going to play doubles to decide between the two teams.
There are 2 doubles matches, the AS Patton needs only one more win to qualify for the final.

Great fight in the second semi-final! :yeah:
Galvani-Vliegen lost to Friedl-Cipolla 0-6 6-4 6-2
Gicquel-Kohlschreiber finally beat Rochus-Economidis in the all-deciding match, although Rochus-Econ. were serving for the match in the 3rd set: 5-7 6-3 7-6

The guys of the AS Patton (Vliegen, Kohlschreiber, Gicquel...) will be dead tomorrow for the final against the PJB "stars". :(

PJB-AS Patton 3-1

Last chance for the AS Patton now, Vliegen has to beat Gasquet...

So many guys are injured, Benneteau has a rib injury and can't play at all, Mahut yesterday, Monfils today, now the website says Gicquel was having back problems...

Gasquet beats Vliegen 6-1 3-6 6-3, Paris Jean-Bouin defends his title, surprise surprise.

Anyway, good fight from Vliegen who lost all his matches in 3 sets, poor him.
The French players usually like playing this event, it's normal, but the other guys like Kohlschreiber, Vliegen, C. Rochus... really put up a good fight this week-end.

For next year, mix the teams up, please!
