PARIS (AP) -- Sebastien Grosjean, Arnaud Clement, Fabrice Santoro and Michael Llodra were chosen Wednesday to represent defending champion France against the United States in their Davis Cup semifinal Sept. 20-22.

U.S. captain Patrick McEnroe is expected to announce his lineup by Sunday's end of the U.S. Open. The deadline is Tuesday.

Andy Roddick and James Blake are expected to be on the squad, while Pete Sampras is a possibility. Andre Agassi has said he won't play.

France and the United States will play on the red clay courts of Roland Garros, home of the French Open.

Grosjean was a semifinalist at both the French Open and Australian Open in 2001, and a quarterfinalist at the French this year. Clement was the runner-up in the 2001 Australian Open.
