Good to see I brought my Rome form into Roland Garros. Hopefully it lasts through the final this time. :D
Do you have a big serve like your former fellow Dutchman?

@lupojohn
I think there some misspelling mistakes in picks for the Auger-Aliassime first round match, there are only 42 picks for that match while 54 for all others
@lupojohn , you need to correct all spelling mistakes (it's the most time consuming part of the job). There are likely spelling mistakes that need to be corrected in all of the following matches. None of these matches add up to 54. Much of it will be hyphen problems.

Sandgren/Hurkacz
Millman/Carreno Busta
Altmaier/Lopez
Mannarino/Ramos-Vinolas
Mayot/Davidovich Fokina
Machac/Fritz
Koepfer/Hoang
Nishikori/Auger-Aliassime
Cecchinato/De Minaur
Paire/Kwon
Bonzi/Ruusuvuori
Martinez/Vukic
Korda/Seppi

1R picks are worth the same points as 2R picks??
Yeah it got changed a few years back. You can bring it up at the end of year if you'd like it put to the vote to be changed for 2021.

I used J. Sousa because that's what's listed in post 3. Managers in all games are usually clamouring for everyone to copy and paste names from the list they give(though lupojohn didn't say that here), so I always export from tennisdrawchallenge and anything abnormal(first initial, extra names, missing/extra hypens, etc) I change to what the manager lists in their draws so I assumed J. Sousa was what the manager wanted. Looks like I wasn't alone on that. At least I fixed the other mistakes those who exported had.

I assumed Pedro Sousa would be in the draw as well as Joao which is why I did that. I'm also not myself at this point, but that's another story.

Yeah it's no big deal. Just saying I take extra care to have exactly what the manager has because I know it's a hassle to fix mistakes. That's why I guess I was wrong in this case.

On a related note, I've noticed a manager spelling mistake in their posted draw before, in such a case is it better for me to post my draw with said spelling error, or spell it correctly? I figure in such a case there's going to be a big combination of both in others draws.

If there's a mistake, you can post it. I have no problem correcting it. It's just in this case, with Felix's name being hyphenated, it's tricky how to fix that.

A few things from me.

1. @156mphserve , you did nothing wrong, no worries.

2. @lupojohn , many players are worried about some of their picks not being counted. I'm not sure if you fixed the spelling errors or not, but you have not confirmed it if you have! In Post #62 where you posted the "stats", the spelling of all the names looks good on your part, meaning they all match exactly the names in the official draw. BUT one or more spellings did change from your Post #3 (that is one of @156mphserve 's points, I believe). Either way, I believe you have everything spelled correctly there (exactly how I would have it) as of Post #62, but I have issues with the fact that so few of the sections add up to the number 54.

3. It is the manager's job to add the missed hyphens in names like Auger-Aliassime and to correct any other spelling mistakes before the "stats" are posted. There are fast ways to do this in most spreadsheet programs by utilizing their "find and replace all" feature and possibly other methods. This is the part that many people, including myself, are wondering if it was completed for this tournament.

4. This is a separate issue...but the people that use tennisdrawchallenge.com almost always have misspelled names. I can always tell when I am trying to manage a tournament and like 9 of the 42 players all have something like "Schwartzman" misspelled the EXACT same way (i.e. Schwartzmann, with two N's or whatever). I'm not sure how to stop this from happening at this moment, but I am a problem solver, so yes, it will get figure out. I haven't even started on that one yet. For now, I have just been manually fixing their mistakes, and believe me, they do make alot there at tennisdrawchallenge.com. Before people started using that, we got down to having very few mistakes, and in some tournaments, no mistakes at all by our collective group of entrants.

5. If I am not comfortable with the validity of this tournament's standings within the next 36 hours, I will run it and either compare results with @lupojohn , help in some way, or completely take it over. I would do something sooner, but I am busy until then. We WILL have verified and 100 percent accurate standings without any question before the second week of the French Open begins.

Yes you did nothing wrong. I should have said these are the corrections needed rather than 'mistakes'. Apologies.
And I hadn't noticed the J in the draw either. I went off the stats page that was posted. (I was a bit confused why using the J too when Pedro wasn't playing lol). I didn't use the posted draw myself as the qualifiers/LL's hadn't been placed and it was easier (for me) to use the PAW draw.

@lupojohn, cheers up and make the corrections if you can. It will take about 30 minutes if that helps. (that's how I've been trying to do tasks lately, 30 minutes at a time. Though my lawns are looking a bit funny at 3 different heights.)
