Ferrer said 'I can never beat Roger, he’s too much for me.'

Ferrer said 'I can never beat Roger, he’s too much for me.':sad::sad:
It seems Ferrer, such a fighter ,is quite downbeat about the defeat.
But actually Ferrer deserves to have more titles in masters, if not a slam. Really hope he can get one beofre he can retire.

That's not a good mindset imo. The opponent might be very tough but you should always have the belief to win.

He's probably got a point though!

Thats what everyone thought before Nadal came along.

Mugs like Ferrer should take mental lessons from Nadal

Easier said than done after 16 straight losses. At some point you start doubting yourself, no matter how good you are.

In theory that might be a good approach, but it doesn't work in practice. When you've lost 15 times straight to a player, you don't have the belief to win. It's not something you can control any longer.

Ferrur is a bigger turkey than Roddick. Amazing.

He don't have the reach to retrieve shots. Its not about mental lessons from Nadal.

Dancerer has the angles to expose him.

Imagine how bad Nicolas Almagro feels - he's got a 15-0 record against Ferrer!

He's got a matchup problem vs Fed, not a mental problem.
Last night he played very well, but it wasn't enough.

Still he might get the win in the future. People taking lost close matches as proof that Ferrer can't win against Fed have thinking issues...

He can't get into Servboterer's head and it's difficult to win when Roger can just strut.

He may have had belief in the beginning but once you play your best tennis and still get creamed by The King then there's nothing left to do but feel hopeless.

He didn't play well at the important moments. Like at 3:4 1st set when he double faulted twice.

But he was probably happy to bend over for his Master again, you could see it during the handshake.

Ferrer throws one or two stinking games against everybody, not just Federer.

This is not ATP of Thrones, no need to rewrite the plot with improbable twists.

Knight Ferrer is still Lord Nadal's favourite lapdog, giving the Lord cheap thrills and defeating him from time to time just for masochistic fun and lols.

Proves Nadal's fake persona since even the GOAT warrior can be this honest on his pressers.

he said he'll beat him in the seniors tour, which is more than possible.

Its not just a question of being mentally tough though is it. Nadal has the game to beat Federer. Ferrer doesn't.

I think Ferrer has actually made the most of his talent over the years. Just seems like the constant defeats to Fed and Nadal have worn him down.

Well after 16 matches and no wins what he said is a fact. But it doesn't mean that he doesn't try every time he steps out onto court. And the last two matches are the closest he's come against Fed for years. Perhaps on a slow court where Fed's serve isn't as potent, he will be able to get that elusive win.
