Feds: Even smarter than we thought?

Ok, since a certain poster didn't want to start this thread, I will, as the question has grown larger in my mind.

Do you think Feds was toying with Agassi in the final? He knew he could blow Old Balls off the court, but he wanted to give the Americans some hope and a good final?

Exhibit A: Staying behind on his return game and letting Andre dominate, then changing tactics completely in the 4th set, coming in and almost bagelling Old Balls.

Thoughts?

Please stop overloading us with your astounding level of wit and extraordinary sense for bringing up the topics that all of us have been losing sleep over.

:smash:
I would like to know why he didn't do that sooner. He was that way with Hewitt too. Did he get asked that question in his press conference. Great thread as usual TF. :) I don't think he toyed with Andre but might have been too nervous on the occassion to play his all out all court attacking game.

I hope no one actually attempts to answer this Fool's question seriously.

For f*cks sake Tennis Fool, stop creating so many stupid threads about Federer.

You really are a tool.
Learn to love the Fed, your life here will be much better off.

Listen son, I touted Roger for greatness ever since I saw him win the Victorian Jnr Championships in January 1998. I don't think you and Wanker-lover could say the same.

He only came to light for you mongrels after winning a slam.

Tennis Fool, just out of curiosity, who did you support in this year's AO SF between Safin and federer?

He didn't support one more than the other. He supported the real winner - tennis.

:retard:
This is on track to become one of the greatest threads ever. Keep up the good work, folks :hearts:

LOL not the whole final, it was a clip from that final

That grade 2 tournament is a breeding ground for some pretty decent players, guess who won it in 2001? :)

Blow him off the court like in the 2004 USO, you mean? I am sure he was kissing up to the American audience/Hollywood back then, too...

I am sure his serving at near 80% for most of the match was just another way of saying "Here, Andre..."

Agassi was cooked after he fell behind 4-1 in the TB, which included 3 errors, 2 of them unforced. By the time the 4th set had begun, Andre was completely demoralized and Fed could swing out of his shoes if he so desired because the win was in the bag.
i think this is a silly question, every normal person wants to finish the match soon, if roger has so much pity/respect for andre, why didn't he "pretended" to lose instead, he already had so many slams

I know. Which is why I made that moronic comment that commentators make after good matches.
This thread brings to mind another thread asking why Nadal gift a set to Agassi in the Montreal finals.

I will post a list of recent winners, so we can all have a good laugh.
