From an article posted in Rafa's forum: 'Even Roger Federer says Rafael Nadal is the player to beat at the French Open.'

Well, duh. Their big pre-match competition is who can call dibs on 'not favorite' status first. It's seriously entertaining and I've been meaning to comment on it for some time. There was a post maybe a week ago in Roger's forum to the effect that thank God Roger said so before Nadal was able to pull the 'he's number one so he's always the favorite' bs. Now of course, Roger is also making all these confident statements that he feels well prepared and he can do it, but it's clear he doesn't want to be the favorite. They're both vying for 'second favorite'.

I love that he says he hasn't hit his prime yet, and that domination is not about weak competition, but about making the difficult look easy. :worship:
