dont know how many of you remember an old thread of mine berating sanguinetti for his general lack of ability. i stated 'he will never get beyond the second round of a slam again...ever!' and sticking to my guns, i was convinced moya would beat him and bet on rafa's boyfriend. and still, slightly shaken i bet again on his next opponent (despite his0-3 record to him), who is a man i make it a rule never to bet on. but sanguinetti in the fourth round of the 2005 US open? no way, it couldn't happen...even now it sounds ridiculous.

so davide came back and kicked my ass and so proved once again...i am a tennis pundit of the highest calibre

but all bad tasteless jokes aside, i am pleased for davide. not so pleased he has cost me so much money this tournament but hey. and if he was playing almost anyone else i would bet huuuuge on them. but he is playing ringo starr! another man i hate betting on...unless he's playing murray at wimbledon!
