I really don't know why would anybody care about Olympics gold medal. Olympics are totally irrelevant. Otherwise, Nicolas Massu wouldn't be an Olympics gold medalist.

Apart from French Open and Cincinnati, the only important tournament Djokovic didn't win is Hamburg Masters. And obviously, he'll never win it, since it hasn't been a Masters 1000 tournament for 7 years already.

On the other hand, apart from Monte Carlo and Rome, Federer hasn't won Rogers Cup when it was played in Montreal.

2011 - Federer GOATing for one set and two TBs + Fognini trolling Novak and not playing QF.
2012 - Rain + Nadal bullying umpire to stop after losing 8 straight games.
2013 - Pascal Maria and his blatant biased daylight robbery.
2014 - Stomach flu - Novak was sick and puking all over the court in the final.

So in reality Nadal has nothing to do with Novak not winning RG last 4 years.

There is nothing to consider there, Nadal won that masters, no matter Madrid, Shanghai or Stuttgart, Essen, Stockholm where it had been hosted before Madrid, so, missing two.
