Next, he will face either Tommy Haas who is also slumping or Rainer Schuttler who is one tournament wonder [reaching final of auckland]. Kuerten's chance to reach semifinal is WIDE OPEN. His only opponent that will most likely give him a run for his money is Tommy Haas, that if he's more commited to the tour 100% rather flirting with Pornikova and Dookic.
We'll see if Rainer is just a 'one-tournament-wonder', as you call him ...
I'll send my points in a sec! ;)

Men's Single Round 32 Result
Q1 : Robby Ginerpi def. [1]Fernando Gonzales 60 76(6)
Felix Note : The first upset of the day. I'm not too surprised considering Ginerpi is the only one who stretched Johansson to the limit. Gonzales must be losing his mind if he thinks he can win with this set of points that was sent since forever. THE END.
Q2 : [2]Sebastian Grosjean def. Carlos Moya 61 76(6)
Felix Note : Oh. Perhaps it's a blessing in disguise. Perhaps by playing in qualifying match might help Grosjean to get more wins. This is one solid performance by the French player.
Q3 : [3]Andy Roddick def. Tim Henman 63 26 75
Felix Note : Everyone seems to love Duck here, despite being one of the bottom players in FATP. :p. The tour director was seen supporting the Duck during the match.
Q4 : [4]Joachim Johansson def. Alex Bogomolov, Jr 64 64
Felix Note : Thanks for playing Alex. Johansson carried his great performance in OZ to Italy. A very well played match from the Pim Pim.

Bottom singles player but TOP doubles player, and TOP uhm forget I said that
The tour director seems interrested in Ducky... Fish wouldn't like to hear that... And I'll prove I can win 2 matches in a tournament, just be patient ;)

Men's Single Round 16 Result
Feliciano Lopez def. [1] Mardy Fish 76(2) 61
Felix Note : Hah! Fish finally fell before semifinal. Worse, he lost in the first round. To me, this is not really surprising. Sure, Fish was solid in the first set, just that Lopez has always been on the verge of breaking out as a top player. Today he proved it. Like I said, Fish really should not be too worried with this result, he just needed to adjust a little on his strategy.

Robby Ginerpi [Q] def. Andy Roddick [Q] 7/6(2) 61
Felix Note : I'm pretty impressed with how Ginerpi played. Today he showed it all, despite being new to the tour. Roddick again failed to win two matches in a row.

Marc Kimmich def. Richard Gasquet 61 75
Felix Note : Oh wow. Three hard hitters already moved on to the next round. Kimmich really smacked the ball HARD and didn't give any chance for Gasquet to get back and control the points. Impressive.

Rafael Nadal def. [3] Guillermo Coria 64 76(9)
Felix Note : Not even surprising to me at all. Nadal was well equipped with enough weapons and energy to win the match. Might be a threat for power hitter.

Joachim Johansson [Q] def. [4] Roger Federer 75 62
Felix Note : See what I'm saying. Federer got unlucky to meet the One in the first round. Federer need a major revamp on his strategy to win more matches. Johansson now prolongs his win streak to 7 in a row. Congrats.

Gaston Gaudio def. Marat Safin 46 75 76(1)
Felix Note : I'm pulling Gaudio for the upset. His points, despite being the same for 4098534057 weeks, were just nice to upset the power hitter. Watch out players. His first victim was Safin. :worship: please come back Gaudio.

Rainer Schüttler def. Tommy Haas 61 16 76(2)
Felix Note : It's furstrating to see this kind of result. Haas had the talent but never committed to the tour 100%. Schuttler was able to pull the upset and well deserved.

Sebastian Grosjean [Q] def. [2] Gustavo Kuerten 62 62
Felix Note : Had Kuerten move his third set points to the second or first, he would have had this tournament on the bag. It's scary how all of sudden these players came out really really agressive. We are going to have great matches ahead. Well done Grosjean.

Allez, Sebastien! Two matches in a row! I think this may be a first. He'd just like to thank his doubles partner, Joachim, for all the inspiration and good advice.

Hooray for Sebastien! Three in a row. This has got to be some kind of personal record.

Poor Joachim. I bet he got distracted by Gaston's amazing ass.
