Player of the WEEK
Rainer Schuttler
for qualifying to the final for the first time and beating former number #1, Coria, along the way.
Mardy Fish
For being the only player in FATP to reach third consecutive semifinal and wins his first title.
Feliciano Lopez
Last week, he lost in qualifying round. This week, he qualified and reached semifinal. Beat Roger Federer and Tommy Haas along the way.

The Winner
Feliciano Lopez.
Definately a great week for him. Against all odds, he upset few contenders before losing to the eventual finalist. Congrats.

Win of the WEEK
Rd 32 : Andy Roddick def. Carlos Moya 61 16 76(2)
Andy won his first match.
Final : (3) Mardy Fish def. Rainer Schuttler 61 06 76(2)
Fish won his first title.
Rd 16 : (Q)Feliciano Lopez def. (4) Roger Federer 75 62
Who would have expected this. Federer was the most consisent player out of the bunch

The Winner
Feliciano Lopez
He technically destroyed Federer and from the on, he won another match.
Why Fish didn't win? He is expected to win the final anyway, beside it's an ugly match.

Article of the WEEK
Mardy Fish

Sebastien's playing Fernando AGAIN in singles. I guess he'll have to get over his fear of getting hit by one of Gonzo's shots.

Don’t worry, Pimmer, we can get our revenge for Auckland. I think our strategy for this week should be to constantly point out to Carlos and Rafael how great the other’s ass looks. That way, they’ll be so distracted looking at each other that they’ll lose!

France vs USA in mixed doubles! Ignore the flag over my avatar. That's just a technicality. Vive le France!

aww mardy nominated for all 3 but only wins the article, but hey ho it's all good!

Mardys raring to go for this tourny.

 I gather points work a week behind on number 1 rankings so even if mardy wardy goes out in rd 1 this week he would have advantage of being ranked #1 for the next tourny and #1 player points? right? or no?

yeah. that's how it works in fatp.

oh man, is this game boring or what. half of the people sent in points for mixed and i was hoping new points for single as well.

been very busy with school, so i try to add preview if i have the time or else, bear with it. i'd try to write great articles if i have the time. sorry.

and yeah molik and kimmich will be added to doubles and obviously a new player is on the house, robby ginepri.

again sorry if i have been pretty slack. :tape: school has taken a toll in my life and somewhat damaged the brain. :help:

I don't think this game is boring! Yes, it would be great to have a few more players, but the people who are participating are a lot of fun.

Shame on those who haven't sent in their points, though. Maybe you could penalize them somehow? Perhaps their players could be added to the draw, only to suffer terrible humilating defeats at the players who DO participate.
