Mayer served for the first set but got broken. second set mayer started making a lot of mistakes and nico got ahead early and never looked back.

Pity they put both to meet so early in the rounds. These two are better clay courters than half of the draw here. It was a decent contest (great one handed BH rallies!) for the most part until Mayer quickly faded in the second. I hope he can rebound from this loss and do well for rest of the clay season.
