Way to go Edu :worship:. This is his first ever ATP level victory, in only his 3rd ever appearance in the main draw of an ATP event. To comfortably dismiss a player ranked 121 places above him is very impressive.
Igor not forcing a single break point on Edu's serve throughout the match on a claycourt is pathetic on his part, and he has now lost in the 1st round of 5 out of the last 6 tournaments that he has played in.
Andreev once lost to Kubot in Sopot (and I didn't even see it cos I was watching Hernandez in doubles on a side court), so everything to be expected from him.
And seriously, don't underappreciate Baby Gordo, he was #2 in juniors in 2004 (and he didn't even play much! He practically just played 6 big events in South America and won 5 of them), and after finishing the junior career he struggled with the injuries for over an year, and tbh I thought he would never become a pro. Glad he did :yeah:
