Re: Eastbourne Entry List (updated May 6, 2014)

Not really a great list; not a ton of proficient grass-courters on there either. Doesn't seem as good as last year but at least is still much better than Bosch.

Chances someone like Thiem ends up with a WC to the MD?

Re: Eastbourne Entry List (updated May 6, 2014)

After this week Muller is ranked above his PR but even if he entered here with it (128) he won't get in directly.

As long as Klizan and Thiem get in, I'm satisfied.

WC for Thiem I'm pretty sure he will get in...

Re: Eastbourne Entry List/Fact Sheet (updated May 20, 2014)

Is there any chance of another WC. I'd be very disappointed not to see Mr Thiem given a direct entry

Re: Eastbourne Entry List/Fact Sheet (updated May 20, 2014)

As for Thiem, I think he wouldn't mind to play a qualies here, get some matches under his belt and get a better feeling for Wimbledon, considering he hasn't play a pro-level match on grass yet. Has Tsonga in Queens R2, if he beats Goffin. That's why I think that.

Re: Eastbourne Entry List/Fact Sheet (updated June 12, 2014)

I wonder if Jarko Nieminen will pull out here. He retired today against Dolgopolov. Sam Querry would make the main draw if he pulls out.

Assuming the above is true, whether Donald Young makes the main draw or plays qualies here will depend on Matosevic. So go Stan Wawrinka beat him tommorow.

Matosevic hasn't entered Eastbourne so would need someone else for the Don to get in. Maybe playing qualifying isn't a bad thing as he needs match practise on grass

Re: Eastbourne Entry List/Fact Sheet (updated June 13, 2014)

Dolgopolov and Lu forfeited their QF matches in Queens/Halle today, so it could be that they will withdraw to be fit again for Wimbledon.
