Re: Eastbourne Entry List (updated May 6, 2014)

Not really a great list; not a ton of proficient grass-courters on there either. Doesn't seem as good as last year but at least is still much better than Bosch.

Chances someone like Thiem ends up with a WC to the MD?

As long as Klizan and Thiem get in, I'm satisfied.

WC for Thiem I'm pretty sure he will get in...

As for Thiem, I think he wouldn't mind to play a qualies here, get some matches under his belt and get a better feeling for Wimbledon, considering he hasn't play a pro-level match on grass yet. Has Tsonga in Queens R2, if he beats Goffin. That's why I think that.

Re: Eastbourne Entry List/Fact Sheet (updated June 12, 2014)

I wonder if Jarko Nieminen will pull out here. He retired today against Dolgopolov. Sam Querry would make the main draw if he pulls out.

Assuming the above is true, whether Donald Young makes the main draw or plays qualies here will depend on Matosevic. So go Stan Wawrinka beat him tommorow.

Matosevic hasn't entered Eastbourne so would need someone else for the Don to get in. Maybe playing qualifying isn't a bad thing as he needs match practise on grass
