Apparently the test done at home is negative for the Bosnian's coach and they will sue RG for removing the player from the qualifiers after an alleged positive test to coronavirus.

I support Dzumhur fully and I wish him the best of luck.

But unfortunately, from a legal standpoint, these types of organisations are basically built on the premise of "It's our tournament, we do as we wish. You can cooperate and play our game or gtfo". I'm also pretty sure that's the lingo used in the legal disclaimer of the actual contract. For sure.

Wipe your brows and move on to the next event.

Will be a waste of time and energy for everyone.

We all know tests are not accurate and can say positive when negative or the reverse. Players already tested in The French said the sample was taken deep in their nose when it was not in New York when lot of doctors say you can not find anything if sample is not deep.

That said all players and coaches have signed a document in which they said that they accept to retire if FFT medical staff test them positive so chances are very low that they can win if suing.

1) their signature exist.
2) French test can be wrong but Serbian test can be wrong too and judgement will not held before monthes so that there is no mean to say which one was wrong.

Mindblowing that they decide to eject players based on one test result, using a test that we know has a significant rate of false positives. And given the coach's history of having COVID, it seems like some common sense should have been applied here.

But then again, it's always the lower-ranked players that suffer from these arbitrary rules. Surely RG officials could have done something, but it's just some lower-ranked player who makes them barely any viewership money so who cares? Easier to just boot a problem like that out of the tournament and call it a day.

People shouldn't forget how the grand slams acted this year when actually under pressure. They selfishly safeguarded their own interests despite the consequence to others, and consistently kept players in the dark by failing to communicate properly. Of course when all of the Players' Association stuff started happening, they suddenly banded together like the justice league to sign their name to a document saying "we think now is a time for unity and not division", while opposing the organization of players into a unified voice.

They should sue. He insisted on 2nd test, given that his coach had recovered from COVID19 and had IgG antibodies on ELISA test - which can sometimes give false positive on PCR, but they have easily denied.
FFT doctor Montalvan says 2 samples were tested twice on two different machines with a low positive but positive result.

Yes, because they probably detected this:

"Although replication-competent virus was not isolated 3 weeks after symptom onset, recovered patients can continue to have SARS-CoV-2 RNA detected in their upper respiratory specimens for up to 12 weeks."

Problem is not if the test is positive or negative, problem is they signed a document where they accepted to be tested by FFT and to retire if tested positive by FFT.

Players Union should have asked for an independant test but unfortunately Nadal and Federer asked players to stay United with Tournament Directors.

I sympathize with Dzumhur but this lawsuit won't be successful.
