Lopez served great for the best part, but made some crucial errors in those two games he was broken.

Overall, it was an entertaining match, always good to see some old school tennis

First point rally at 5-3 in the second was fantastic. Federer's squash return of the lob shot 5-10 meters behind the baseline with his back to the net was another amazing shot. Federer first serve pct. was 70%, a bit of an improvement from his last match. That was the key, as Lopez could never get a window of opportunity to break, putting a lot of pressure on his own serve. Lopez did well just to hang in there for as long as he did.

But how is that for a great quarter?

Fish, Beck, Youzhny, Gasquet, Mahut, Lopez, Llodra, Fed.

I believe that Beck is the slowest player in the quarter and even he has had success on Grass.

The entire half top it off with Del Potro and Tsonga. Great job Dubai!
