Joe is horribly out of form after Australia. His last events have all been horrid. PHM is the huge favourite here.

Although his run in Adelaide was impressive before this weeks qualies Joe hadnt won a match since Adelaide! I do like that he is trying to qualify for as many ATP events as he possibly can seeing as he is 33 now. His got a mental advantage over PHM though so he knows how to beat him.

i was surprised joe qualified after his recent form, PHM should win easily

Ihe conditions will suit Joe a bit better than the indoor courts of Europe, where he gets blown of court a lot of the time. The same surface as the OZ open, and hot conditions...that might even things a little, but I still think he's in for a paddling
