You have to love Djokovic when he plays at his higher level.

Dropshot King. Beautiful groundstrokes and all-round game.

Khachanov tried to be aggressive but failed against Djokovic's counter strikes.

#16th straight victory in 2020 and 19th straight overall.

#Secured world number one spot this week. #282 weeks and counting.

Congratulations to Khachanov for making the scoreline look closer than the actual match.

ok match by nole this time, karen was quite useless the moment he wanted to up the pace in the exchanges as his FH kept on misfiring. nole failed to serve out first set at 5-1, but got it done anyway with a break right back. i still believe he got bored somehow because he was in cruise control and yet still dominating.

Another good performance from novak. He decided to polish his dropshots a bit, and it was beautiful...
No.1 for 3 additional weeks guaranteed, the next 2 matches will be against in-form players and will present greater challenges, I hope he is ready for them. he lost 11 games this tournament so far, too easy...

KK keeps disappointing, he can play much better but he really struggles right now, maybe he should find a new coach, he waists his potential.

Novack was good again but KK is a mug. Don't you want to see Djokovic against someone who can actually play. I guess it's Tits or nothing.

Khachanov is so-so bad nowadays, couldn't see the match, but was expecting a closer scoreline.

If Novak brings this form to USO where it reaIIy counts, it's finaIIy Iights out for Fed's HC majors reign & at least 2 big records broken for the year.

Too easy for Djokovic

282 weeks secured now. But still more to play for. Need to get every win and every point as Nadal is right there and is playing well and #1 could change hands again in Indian Wells. Djoker wants as much cushion as he can going into IW

Yes he does.... Doing badly at the Sunshine Double last year retroactively costed Djokovic bigtime in the Year End Number 1 calculations last year.By being clinical so far in 2020 it once again puts him in good stead as he knows Nadal will win his usual truckload of points in the clay season. He has to do well in Dubai,Indian Wells & Miami to put the pressure back on Nadal.

Novak wants that 6th Year End Number 1 achievement to go past Federer & Nadal. If he gets it he'll have the cherry on top by eclipsing Federer's 310 weeks at Number 1 record AND retaking Nadal's record as the oldest year ending Number 1 player.

Well if he does all of that and takes Wimbledon and USO, even if Rafa wins RG, Djokovic would be sitting there with 19 slams vs 20 each for Fed and Nadal, while having the YE #1 record as well as the Weeks @ #1 record and could say with a great argument that he is already the GOAT. And this is within 9 months

Let's say for arguments sake he does all that AND ... AND.... also wins the Gold Medal and Cincinnati he'll have bagged the Double Career Masters Slam & the Career Golden Super Slam as well to boot.

He'd have the greatest resume in tennis right there.Don't even get me started on the possible Double Career Slam at the French as well ;)

Would that be good enough as your GOAT Johnny? :)

Well he is still one slam short of Fedal but it would be an argument yes

But let's focus on Monfils first

Djokovic looks to me maxing out whereas Nadal in acapulco is going through motions.

Wont be surprised to see Djokovic burn out again around FO time.

Djokovic is peaking at wrong time.
