Entry List

YES!!! a very strong field!

I hope Nole and Federer to be on opposite side of the draw, so they can only meet in the finals.

Re: Dubai Entry List/Fact Sheet (updated January 22, 2008)

This entry list was as of January 22 when Santoro was ranked one ahead of Feli, but now he's two behind. Feli is at 38 and Santoro at 40. Will this be updated to reflect the current rankings? I hope Feli will manage to get into this thing, although I'd much prefer he was playing in Las Vegas since I'll actually get to see some of that tournament, and with Gonzalez dealing with an injury, there might be no one I want to see in Vegas.

I'm not 100 % sure but someone can correct me if I am wrong, but I think the entry lists are based on ranking 6 weeks prior to an event.. it is the seedings that are decided based on current rankings.

This is the first time I've ever watched over how this unfolds, so I hope you don't mind the questions. But what happens if no one from the entry list withdraws? Those alternates aren't on the qualifying entry list, so are they just out without even a chance to qualify?
