The Giant and the Midget are having a good time there at Roman Arena , Romans enjoying like in the gladiators times.

The unusual pair of dudes are bringing a well balanced , well oiled, nicely contrasted team into the table, not seen in Rome since Russell Crow teamed up with the black dude in the movie. And they keep delivering. Keeping things interesting .

They even talk about basketball during changeovers.

While singles is delivering error infested matches, pushing contests, choke festivals , etc.

I recommend anyone who likes tennis and those who don't to watch this funny couple in the final of Rome , I would not recommend anyone (not into tennis) the other final.

Doubles is underrated for sure, especially when you got teams like this. Bolelli/Fognini are also definitely worth a mention, full with flair, Italian passion.

Could be an amazing final if the Italians manage to beat Mektic/Pavic

Yeah ! All that. Also these two beating actual and former No1 at the same tourney would be sweet. Though I fancy more the chances vs the Italians , maybe . Don't know . Though homecourt ...

Double specialists become it when they realise they’re not good enough for singles and will never break the top 200. that’s why I like it when singles players decide to enter doubles for fun and expose those specialists for the mugs that they really are. On the other hand: players who succeed at both at the top level are highly impressive and deserve credit (like McEnroe)
