Don't do that against Lubucic.

The bad stuff out of the way. That's only the second time Donald wins a 1st round slam match outside of the US Open.

Speaking of which if Lacko comes back it'll be a US Open rematch between the 2

Peter
Bad loss for him really. I thought he was going to win this match.

Incredible meltdown from Gojo

he led 2-0 in the fifth and then won 4 more points for the remainder of the match
Yeah. But even more than that it's doing that after winning 14 of the last 19 games.
Part of me wanted Gojo to win but whatever, I guess I won't complain about Donald taking it.

At 2-0 in the 5th Peter probably started thinking about the victory :(
But still, only winning 4 points until the end is quite poor.

Both Lacko and Ljubicic are a bad match-up for Donald IMO.

Then why did Lacko lose to him in New York?

And the rematch is on
Because Lacko was totally out of form then. Simple as that.

Good recovery from Young, but he should have never needed to go 4 or 5 sets  Hopefully he'll play better in the next round.

I was surprised by the ease at which Don won the first two sets, but I still did not think he would drop two sets. He gets Lacko next who he usually beats. Then vs Haas(or Nadal) in the 3rd round.

I mean, ok he beat him but only once ( is it usually ? ) at US Open when Young was form was hot as hell and Lacko was at his lowest level in 2 years.
