I really thought Becker would win this, took the german at 1.95 and lost. Bolelli seemed to have surprisingly good day looking at his serving stats.

Bolelli was on fire at some points. His problem is the cheap mistakes and sometimes not sufficient court coverage

I have always loved watching Bolelli play and today wasn't an exception, nice shotmaking as always and a deserved victory. This could be a great season for Simone, at least now he's there in the rankings where he belongs and not outside top-100.

Becker trended up at the end of 2014, but yes Simone has a higher peak and it showed here, Becker played good defense in set 2 and still lost
