Beating Federer who had his best grass performance in Wimbledon semifinal according to the majority of posters and played at the same level in the final, but lost to Djokovic in 4 sets.

Streamrolling prime Nadal in straights at RG. Of course peak RG-2008 Nadal would have grabbed a set vs peak Nole, but peak to peak Djokovic in 4 is the safe bet.

At AO Novak is the undisputed GOAT.

There could be made the case that US-Open-2011 was the highest quality match in US-Open history and quess who won it?

True, but it doesnt matter what majority of posters here say. The experts were the ones that confirmed Federer played at his very best.
Djokovic beats Peak Federer on his favourite surface.

Wilander was right.

Djokovic at his peak is the peak GOAT on any surface.
Wilander did win multiple Slams on all surfaces (2 AO's on grass), so is well qualified to judge.
But he also won 3 French Opens as well.
Novak must win there at least once, hopefully next year.

Cool joke:haha::haha:

We couldn't rate Borg that hight because he wasn't good enough to succeed after his comeback while Djokovic is looking to dominate the tour even in his 30's in Serena style.

At first I didn't understand why Novak's fans were called Noletards on this board but now I begin to understand.

How can anyone call 2015 Nadal 'prime Nadal'??

3 Channel Slams :wavey:

and at a time when the courts were different and require alternate styles.

retired to let comeptition flourish

others, 16 slams at LEAST

and he didn't play AO, so x 1.33 = 21.28, ie 21 slams.

If you guys really believe Fed was at his peak today you are truly delusional. Nole is a great player and deserving champion, but you should really stop with this nonsense now.

In one of his interviews Murray revealed that after the surgery he started to play at his previous level, but it wasn't great enough at all to compete with the top dogs - that's how quickly the sport of tennis continues to develop.

Nadal may very well play at the same level as all of his multi-Slam seasons and he himselft states that there's nothing wrong with him or his game, but now that quality isn't high enough to win against talented guys like Brown, Verdasco, Raonic, Berdych or Fognini, let alone peak Djokovic and peak Stan.

People forget Nole's record of 9-8 in slam finals. It will only get worse as he ages.

I expect him to finish with 11-13 record in slam finals.
