More time to prepare for clay.
More hunger after what happened in New York.

I feel like he will be a man on a mission in Paris. Do you agree with me ?

I mean... there will be 127 other players in the draw who also want to win Roland Garros.

Guess Novak is in with a decent shot though

Thiem is by far the most hungry to win Roland Garros, and he's beaten Djokovic in their last 2 Roland Garros meetings.
And Nadal has been starved of tennis....
Djokovic has probably had enough of tennis.

don't think he's any more likely than had he won the US Open. how he'll react to this rather unique circumstance is pretty hard to predict. i doubt he's going to focused on RG today.

Djokovic may not have the mental stamina to go seven best-of-5 anymore. He could finish on 17.
Well, he did win the Australian Open 2020 and was getting on fine at the US Open...

I also thought along the same lines as Federer-Fan. It's certainly a possibility that he will be more fired up. He has shown much of his best tennis when he's been in that frame of mind in the past.

It has made things more interesting.

One thing that might work in his favour is the match practice. He is more match fit than Nadal. Also Rafa requires several matches to feel confident, and add the fact that this is not in June. We don't know what form Rafa is in.

Djoko has a very good chance, I would say. Thiem as well.
