Also Australian Open - Indian Wells - Miami (2011, 2015).

Djokovic's level seems so high atm, Murray played his best tennis since Wimbledon-13 and Novak gives him bagel in the final set lol:worship: Don't know about repeating 2011-like season, but Nole is without 2 months RG winner.

Murray physically was dead though in the 3rd. I think you're giving too much credit in that department. Djokovic is clearly as fit as ever, his level is questionable (its not 2011 like)

Whoop-de-fucking-do. Faker fans sure love Masters. Bring on the slams please, these tournaments are so worthless, simply fillers to keep the hardcore tennis fans entertained during the time in between slams, I.e. What the world remembers.

Murray was fighting like a lion in the first 2 sets to end on a victorious note before his wedding, but once Djokovic consolidated 2nd break in the last set the game was over, Andy gave up. It was more mental than physical at that point.

Yeap just like 2011,12,13,14
Djokovic is the rhythm type of player, that's why Fognini walkover has played a bad joke with Nole in RG-11 semifinal. In other seasons Novak wasn't in great form, but still made it competetive with Nadal. Djokovic would be even more dominant on clay because at his current level he could be troubled only by players who are supreme servers with great variety(Dolgopolov in 1st half of the match with 90% 1st serves, Federer). More chance of pigs flying than Federer repeating his RG-11 performance.

Quite perplexing really that he doesn't have even one double at Canada-Cinci.

Like noone remembers fluke wins like WB08 and wins against extremely weak field like WB10.

On topic, Masters are exactly as worthy as their ATP points: half as worthy as grand slams.
Mocking them as mickey mouse tourneys shows really how much you are in desperate need of some sanity. Rafa will get some more pounding on the dirt, don't worry, so you'll get sober by the end of the clay season. :wavey:

NID, Novak is the slow hard court GOAT.

Federer would need to win at least 2 more AOs and at least 5 more slow HC Masters to challenge him in this position.
Nadal? He would need a whole lot more.
:haha:

The de facto HC GOAT
Not yet, he'll need at least 3-4 more US Opens and to win Cincy at least once.
Only then he could be overall HC GOAT, but that will never happen due to declining and stronger competition on faster hard courts; too many wasted chances in USO (esp. 2013, 14).

Frauderer has inflated fast HC slams becoz of his weak era.

2 more US, 1 more AO, 2 more WTF and at least one Cincy, and he will have, more or less, same HC success as Federer.

Personally, don't think it will happen (the others maybe, but I am thinking particularly of the US opens).

Exactly. Only Slams are remembered, not Mickey Mouse events or H2H.

On Topic: This is a fantastic achievement of the Open Era.

Players to have won the IW-Miami double:
Djokovic - 3 (2011, 2014, 2015)
Federer - 2 (2005, 2006)
Agassi - 1 (2001)
Rios - 1 (1998)
Sampras - 1 (1994)
Courier - 1 (1991)
