Novak Djokovic has started the mind games ahead of the clay court season by revealing that he wants to steal Rafael Nadal's clay court crown away from him this year.

Djokovic has been in decent form since the start of the 2011 tennis season but there is still only one man who deserves the title of King on Clay, with the Spanish world number one able to boast five previous French Open title wins since his successful career began all those years ago.

The Serb, however, is on a run of form that has left him unbeaten in 24 matches this year and clearly doesn't fear anyone on the men's tour at the moment, the player revealing that he is playing "with a lot more confidence" against Nadal in particular these days.

With Djokovic still only 23 years of age but second in the world rankings at the moment, he will be hoping to stop Nadal on his usual quest of ripping apart all who come before him on clay. Nadal is the favourite once again to win this year's French Open and with Djokovic recovering still from a knee problem that forced him out of Monte Carlo and Barcelona recently, it won't be an easy task for the world number two to get the better of the man at the top of the rankings.

If Djokovic is right in his affirmation that everything in his career is falling into the right place at the right time and that's the logical reason behind his good form, then the time could yet be right for a shock victory in Roland Garros.

The French Open will be available for viewing this summer on TV in England, so maybe now is the time to invest in a new 32 inch lcd tv or perhaps just a 22 inch lcd tv!
