Amazing consistency, only Nadal (13) has more RG semis in the Open Era. Djoko has more semis only at the USO (11) but less at the AO (8) and Wimby (9). Interestingly, his consistency in reaching last 4 is negatively correlated with titles: most trophies won by him at tournaments with least semis reached (AO and Wimby)

Stunning consistency on all surfaces, too bad his conversion rate is low here(and in USO too). He has least SF appearances in AO(8), yet it is his most successful slam(on each single time he reached a SF).

In this category we should compare him only with Roger. Nole will turn 34 next May. Let's look at the comparison between Maestro's GS semfinal count when he turned 34 on 08.08.2015 to current Nole's haul:
Novak Djokovic----38------(8 AO - 10 RG - 9 W - 11 USO)
Roger Federer ----37------(11 AO - 7 RG - 10 W - 9 USO)

So little to choose between these two. At the moment, Federer and Djokovic share the record of at least 8 GS semifinals at each major. I could easily see Nole getting to 10 at each slam given that he needs 2 more AO semis and 1 Wimbledon semi, which are the slams he is most likely to win these days. That would be another amazing record further proving his superior consistency and versatility to the other Big 3 members.

Amazing consistency along with Federer, this Novak.
When all said and done, he surely will add a couple more to this tally as well, as we have seen in case of Federer, reaching semis at your favorite surfaces is even possible after 35.

The guy is so good that on his worst slam he still reached 10 SF's, I hope he wins the much deserved second RG comming sunday.
