After winning in Rome, he said "I don't need to do anything more to win RG" which is wrong. He needs to strategise better for 5 sets, increase his physical strength and all that takes some doing. But his tired statement is a telling proof of his present physical condition. Maybe he is tired already?

Well not sure about Djokovic being gassed given how relatively comfortable 2015 has been so far. Apart from 2 matches and maybe 3 at a stretch, he's not had to dig in physically or emotionally deep. Whilst he can run out of steam in RG, it'll be because of long 5 setters in Paris rather than what he's done in 2015 to date.

I think he's planned his year excellently so far. Skipping Madrid was a good decision to let the mind and body rest. After that get some more practice in Rome and follow it through smoothly into Paris.

He may have been better of not playing 3 setters in Rome. But actually letting the mind slip there a couple of times might have made him spend less mental energy than trying to be full-focus all the time (which he obviously did in the final). Physically it wasn't all that intense either for his standards.

He should be fine, unless some really challenging matches turn up before the final.

What did you expect, for him to lay out his daily routine, diet and practice schedule?
He's mentally where he needs to be, everything else is secondary.

absolutely. he is done. he will be underdog even in first round and will be lucky if he wins a set, let alone match... and he isn't even remotely thinking about possibility to get to QF or further.

He can be physically discomforted in best of 5 when matches under the sun go long. You have to factor in the mental toll of all the recent winning too.

Djokovic is going to absolute destroy MTF with his demise.
All the hopes are pinned on Djokovic, all because of MTF's hatred for Nadal because of the slam countdown 15.....16......17......
