With today’s loss to Nadal, there is a big dent in Djokovic profile of head to head count. He is 10-6 against Nadal in grand slam event and given the chances of their meeting gonna be rare, how can he be a GOAT with this head to head with his closest rival.

Also, with this form Nadal is going to get another 2 French open minimum which will make the difference between them as 5. It will take 3 more years for Djokovic to beat Nadal in slam count if he stays in top.

Let’s see

Sure and that is simply because they have played so many at RG. No one in their right mind would argue that Djokovic is on Nadal's level on clay so it's understandable that Nadal has dominated their matches there the way he has. Djokovic is up 5-3 outside of RG and Nadal is up 7-1 at RG. Safe to say that if more of their slam matches happened outside of RG it would look different.

Slam race is forever asterisked because Wimbledon 2020 didn't happen and there is no way around it.
The race does get complicated without Wimbledon, where Djokovic and Federer argurably have more chances there than Nadal, meaning Nadal may need one more Slam to say he's "equal" to Fed in a race.

All of this irrelevant because right now 20-20 > 17.
Agree Novak only needs two decent years out of the next 6 and he is the GOAT. He has too much more in his overall record to not be.

He needs 21 slams by careers end to be the GOAT. His weeks at number 1, total masters haul. Total titles. WTFs.

And all the other details will be too strong to be denied.

Federer is a non factor as of now. His huge ego is going to get his pride hurt..and his body hurt even more..Father time is giving him the signals. And his desperation to hold onto the record. Is not going to end well for him. If he had any pride. He would have announced his retirement as soon as he heard Wimbledon was off. All he will do from here is worsen his win/loss record. And make it even easier for DJOKOVIC and NADAL to blow past his numbers.

He will be relegated to alltime number 3 over the next 2 to 4 years.

Nice masking with 5-3 outside of RG when Nadal leads even in US 2-1

And? The point was that he doesn't dominate Djokovic like this at other slams and 2-1 at USO doesn't change that.

They have played half of their total slam matches against each other at Rafa's favorite event.

The closest thing to that would be if they had 8 matches at AO. That would clearly favor Djokovic in a somewhat similar fashion to how RG favors Nadal

There is an obvious clay skew, but Nadal played finals of AO 09, 14 and 17 without facing Djokovic, so it's a bit of Novak's fault there weren't more matches between them in AO

Holding all Slams, a couple of Masters and a WTF trophy all at the very same time. Having won the Golden Masters..twice, 5 - and very likely 6 by the end of this season YE#1's and at the moment 5 WTF's. Over 288 weeks at number 1. 36 M1000 titles etc. say those h2h in slams isn't that much of a deal...

Rafa won 20 slam matches out of 30 against Federer and Djokovic. That's GOAT shit right there.

I disagree. Nole will break the weeks record. And if he wins 3 more slams while Federer and Rafa stand down then he has a good chance.
Despite he having more losses in slam finals etc.
Every record he takes from Federer levels the goat debate even more.
