Re: Chardy chokes his heart out to Divatrov 3-6 6-4 7-6 (8)

One of the worst tiebreaks in many many years... Pathetic. Terrible match overall.

Re: Chardy def. Divatrov 3-6 6-4 7-6 (8)

Chardy played great match, really was solid, but that tie-break epic stuff, Grigor up 4-1 going to serve 2x just to loose both serves to get to 4-3 serving Chardy holding than 6-5 Chardy serving 2x and made 2xDF´s:D, just to Grigor again choke it away and somehow won later in tie-break. Epic match

Comical celebration by Dimitrov. Played the entire match passively and was literally gifted the match in the tiebreak. Feel bad for Chardy, he dominated most of the rallies but in the end the typical meltdown was his undoing again. His forehand in particular was very impressive for the most part.

Dimitrov really needs to fix his backhand this year. It's basically a copy of Federer's with none of the strengths.

Epic muggery from both in that tiebreak.

Tough first match for Dimitrov. Chardy was good and aggressive, he wasn't. Serve was inconsistent, backhand still vulnerable.

Still, a win is a win and hopefully he will improve for the next match.
