Ok, go look at his RG record and look at the players that he lost to and then analyse it from there. You can work it for yourself.

When has a player had a prime lasting 10 years? So losing to Guga and Mantilla there are bad losses in addition to Courier (twice) at this best, plus the 3 I mentioned as well?

namely because muster's streak was only for one season. he won all these clay events and topped it with the french for that year. however, for the next year, he went down and failed to defend a lot of his titles including the french.

also during that time, i think a certain guy named "guga" was making his mark in the french. a better question would be - will muster be considered for the hall of fame?

here's a trivia for you. during muster's brief 1 week stint as number 1, he never won a match. making him have the distinction as the only number player not to have won a match during his reign...
