LOL.

I don't think we need one, not right now at least. even when the (crazy) bandwagon started, we did pretty well around here, I think. Plus, there are some mods reading this now and then I'm sure, and the report button is still there.

of course this is just my oppinion. Now, if everyone agrees we need one, we should go for it and ask. ;)

OK...so does this thread turn into "who will be the next mod of this forum?"
Aren't you are very own adopted mod? I think we're doing fine without an official one but if other people think we need one then we can always talk about it.

David will play Queen's for the first time this year !

So, David exchanged Halle for Queen's and Vienna for Stockholm.

He wants to try new things this year. Sounds interesting.

David doesn't have good memories at Halle at all, so I'm not surprised that he doesn't want to play there this year. In 2005 he lost in straight sets to Schuettler in the 1st round, but the main talking point of course was David's absolutely disgraceful behaviour that day. He went absolutely beserk, repeatedly smashed and tossed his racket, abused officials, delayed play for 10 minutes, was given a 2 game penalty, and tanked the last couple of games.
In 2007 he was the victim as Gicquel registered the first victory of his career on grass.
The grass at Queen's plays much better and is a of a higher quality than the grass at Halle (and Wimbledon for that matter), which gets so worn out during the latter part of the week.
David is also confirmed to play at the Boodles Challenge exho a week before Wimbledon. This will be the 6th consecutive year that he will participate there. He took part in the main 8 man exho event in 2003, 2004 and 2007, plus he played one-off matches there in 2005 and 2006.

The choice to replace Halle and Vienna with Queens and Stockholm proved to be profitable for David.
