could be close but he didnt quite fall apart to pieces after winning the 1st set

The performance from Carlos in the 2nd and 3rd set of this was truly disappointing and very weak. He had no fire, no surprise moments, no determination, no spirit, no desire to work out there and to go after many shots; his footwork was simply slow and uninspired. Often he only spinned his serve in, he hardly got any easy points. Sanguinetti could feel very comfortable on court because Carlos couldn't hurt him much. At least he decided to try again in the fourth set and broke Sanguinetti back several times after losing his own serve. But it was not enough at the end and I wouldn't have liked his chances in a fifth set anyway.
