I don't follow WTA as closely as ATP tournaments, but haven't there been more ATP events compared to WTA events over the past 7 months? Perhaps the women's lighter travel schedules have helped them avoid illness? They don't have anything going on now whereas the men are in St Petersburg, Sardinia, etc.

Ultimate proof of nothing at this point, methinks...but it does seem to suggest that WTA players have been more careful. There also have been studies that suggest women tend to be more risk-averse than men, and while sometimes that can be disadvantageous, in other situations -- for example, involving safety & health -- it can be a very good thing!

The most extreme difference is between the WTA and ATP Nr 1:

Barty hasn't played a tournament since the COVID crisis broke out, missing two Slams, stating the virus as the reason

Djokovic organized an exhibition while the tournament circuit was still on hold, deliberately ignored safety rules, caught and spread the virus

How exactly did Novak "spread the virus"? So Zverev and Thiem, having played far more tournaments and exhibitions, are ok, right? Get off your tard horse and stop shit-posting.
