I can see Murray winning another Gold if he maintains his current improvements. The man seems determined to win again and not number of loses is setting him back. Will power that strong can mean great things.
Tokyo is basically a lock, #4 is the only question... Murray will have huge crowd support when the Olympics is held in newly independent Scotland's capital.
3 votes and this poll is already closed!
But 2020 Tokyo is a long way away, and Djoker is the king of Asia, expect another Djokoray final, but with a Djoker victory.
Given that Murray was considered finished by almost everyone a few months ago, the Olympic motto "The most important thing is not to win but to take part!" has to apply here.
Better chance of an OG gold than another slam! If he’s much more match fit in 8-9 months time, he’d still be younger than Federer winning AO in 2017 after surgery. Just that slight difference in the nature of the surgery they’ve both had!
We have two Russians, a Greek, and a Canadian building confidence plus the top three who always play to win so it looks like a very exciting Olympics for Sir Murray.
I mean who is going to stop him? Djokovic? <img src="https://www.tennisforum.com/images/smilies/laugh.gif" border="0" alt="" title="lol" class="inlineimg" />
More likely to win Olympics than AO next year. Murray's getting there but still not ready for slam. By the time Wimbledon rolls next year, he'll get his old self back and be ready for Olympics just in time. 3 singles Gold in a row will be quite impressive and will be talked about for decades to come. I hope he gets it.
