The last set of the Corretja-Roddick match was some of the best tennis of the tournament. They were working the points incredibly well. You really have to appreciate the way Corretja rescued himself and juiced up his game to stave off total domination. And Roddick deserves kudos for keeping calm under pressure. All in all, it was a great way to end a great night of tennis!

It was all Andy!

Andy was sooooooo great today against Corettja... I am SO proud to be a fan!! I came back home to watch the beginning of the 2nd set and I could see that Andy was in pain... at first I thought, oh gosh, I don't think he's gonna last cos that bruise looked TERRIBLE, but HE DID!!! 6-4, 6-4, 6-4- gosh, I am SOOOO proud of him. Poor guy though... he looked like he was limping out of the place! Next match is against Pete or Tommy.. (looks like Pete now cos he's leading 7-5, 6-4 at the moment). Good luck Andy!
What I was really impressed was in the second set, Chela threw his balls all over the court- drop shots, volleys, backhand, forehand, more drop shots, and lobs... Andy looked like he was in so pain but he GOT THROUGH it... totally left everyone's jaw wide open! He is such an inspiration... gosh, he's wonderful!
