Well, a win is a win. And when it is handed down to you on a silver platter as Wawa did today, the only criminal thing would be to turn it down, which thankfully Grigor did not do. Third match in a row, victory over a top-10 opponent, added confidence. All great things. And even if he fails next round to (what I expect to be) Fed, it bodes very well for the clay court season ahead.
Apparently, we have to be worried now that when Grigor plays (grinds) so well on clay, he will be shit during the grass season... His defensive style now would (according to experts) prevent him to master the creative and attacking skills required for the green surface. Some people are really clueless. Or they just slept throughout last season...
