Estoril doesn't count, it was a false start, Gilles' clay season is starting now.

Here is his schedule for the clay season:
21.4: MS Monte-Carlo
28.4: Munich
5.5: MS Rome
12.5: MS Hamburg
-
26.5: French Open
9.6: Warsaw

I've seen on Facebook you're going to Rome, Raffaele? Ayane will cover the French Open for us :p and I'll go to either Munich or Hamburg, I haven't decided yet. Is anyone else going to a tournament?

I'm excited about Gilles possibly meeting Fed. Will Gilles get blown off the court? or will he give Roger trouble or will Gilles even make it past the 1st round?

I wonder how his back is doing.

Edit: Hey this is my 500th post!

I'd well pleased to see Gilles give Federer some trouble, though I can't see him getting past him.

Not that I don't trust Gillou's abilities on clay, but I recommend a first round day, we never know.

I don't dare to think of the Fed match yet, I don't like qualifiers in the first round. I'm hoping he plays Cipolla again and beats him, I'm not completely over Estoril yet...

2007 Casablanca R.RAMIREZ-HIDALGO 6-4 6-4
2007 Amersfoort G.SIMON 2-6 4-6

Not an easy match but RRH is not in great form lately.
Good luck Gilles.

Some news of his back in L'Equipe today, he's fine (I was wondering if he had asked for a late start because of his back when I saw he wasn't playing today):
SIMON A BON DOS.
"My back is feeling better. It was a lumbago and it went away with a few sessions with the osteopath and the physio. How did it happen? No idea. I guess I’m too stressed (he laughes)."

Good luck Gilles! I would love to see him play against Federer :D
And I do see him get past Roger :bounce:
But I have to say, I always see my fav's win untill they loose. Even if I could've expected a loss :p

Does anyone know if Gilles will be in Düsseldorf when France confirms their entry in the WTC for sure? That would be great :D

He said in Estoril he'll take the week before Roland-Garros off (I doubt there will be a French team in Düsseldorf anyway.)

He isn't on a televised court tomorrow, so he better win that first round match:

COURT 2 start 10:00 am
M Mirnyi (BLR) / J Murray (GBR) vs M Fyrstenberg (POL) / M Matkowski (POL)
[12] T Robredo (ESP) vs S Wawrinka (SUI)
[Q] R Ramirez Hidalgo (ESP) vs G Simon (FRA)

I also don't have too high hopes to see the Frenchies in Düsseldorf, but a girl can dream, right? ;)
Düsseldorf is always fun, but just a little more with the Frenchies there :p

Hopefully I can see it too, don't know if Eurosport will show something here. I don't think so, they're usually big fans of WTA.

I won't take a bagel, Gillou, wake up!

He won a game. :worship:

No, they never show Masters Series events on Eurosport.

OMG, talk about a collapse after the never-ending first game where he had loads of BP. He's hardly winning a point at the moment apart from DF of RRH.
