A Croatian article says Cilic will withdraw from the Australian Open because of his injury, but hopes to be ready for Zagreb in February. The news is unconfirmed and unofficial at this point, as far as I know.

Cilic says he's very doubtful for the Australian Open

He's quoted in another Croatian article, saying that he's very doubtful for Australia because after 20 days of treatment, an MRI has shown that his shoulder has improved but there's not much time left to heal fully and train. He says he has not withdrawn yet and has 7 or 8 days to see how things progress.

Cilic would do horribly, I'm pretty sure he got smashed by Murray at the end of last season, and Andrew is more defensive than Nadal is. Cilic has proven to be an amazing hitter for what... one tournament in his career and a handful of matches the rest of it?
