No. Just stop. Seriously, just stop there. It only looks like that because he is playing against professional tennis players who hit the ball hard, atleast considerably harder than your bog standard club level player. You have to watch some futures 10k tournaments and you will find good players there too, you have no idea how hard it is to be in the PROs mate. They make it look easy, it's not.He isn´t that far off actually. It´s very weird.
The quality of your opponent doesn't effect your technique (i.e. grip, take back, follow through). OK, if your opponent hits the ball extremely hard you have to shorten the swing sometimes but that should actually help Vesely since he is only blocking with his backhand and not able to hit through properly. And most club level players should know that using a continental grip on your upper hand is not the smartest choice (apparently Vesely doesn't).No. Just stop. Seriously, just stop there. The quality of your opponent doesn't effect your technique, but your technique is tested more, relative to the standard in quality of your opponent. So no, you are wrong, the level of your opponent matters, it matters alot. I can't believe we are actually having this banal discussion. The quality of your opponent doesn't effect your technique (i.e. grip, take back, follow through).
