Now he is a coach of Rendy Lu and you could see his name occasionally on the event lists where Lu participates

Of that's nice :D I expect Scheepers to do something similar, since she has officially retired, but will still travel the tour with Alison Riske. Also it reminds me of when Karol Beck and Boris Borgula (Coaches of Lacko and Gombos, respectively) got in doubles as alternates in some Candian challenger and made the QF :D

Yeah, in fact this topic comes from the Australian Open Qualyfing Thread where we've been discussing this :wink2: yeah, it seems he's missing the start of the season.

Re: Chennai Qualifying Entry List (updated December 29, 2015)

Devvarman is yet to withdraw. I think next alternate who plays should be Nielsen.
Why would Devvarman withdraw? There are no more wild cards - they have gone to Khachanov, Ramanathan and Rublevhttp://www.aircelchennaiopen.org/2016/news/view/ramkumar-ramanathan-gets-wildcard-for-singles-main-draw.

Also, Nielsen is currently 4th ALT according to the official entry list - Mektic, Ivashka and Kocevar-Desman are above him.
