There is a stat on AO website, saying how many times player were right and how many times they were wrong in their calculations when using the hawk-eye.

It seems that Nadal and Tipsarevic have the best eye among the contenders, while the ones that suck are Murray and Baghdatis. Look at their stats

Federer is also in the bottom with 3/12 ratio

It also seems that women are clearly worse in estimating where the ball landed than the men. Can you make some other conclusions from these stats ?

It's really strange, but it seems like Roger is NEVER right with hawkeye. Doesn't he have great eyes? It's weird.

Maybe he could have foreseen the future and knew about it when he was complaining so much before implementing the hawkeye system ?

Respect to Fed, probably the Top2 in the history, maybe the GOAT. But....1/4 challenges right is very small number. I wonder why is so ?

I understand that Roger is not an advocate of Hawkeye and would prefer to leave it to the linespeople to judge so (and this is just my opinion) he can concentrate on his game rather than start risking getting distracted by what's going on outside his control. When I've watched some of his matches, I get the impression he'll sometimes challenge a call when he wants some extra time between points. I'm not saying at all he's using gamesmanship as I think he's one of the most sporting players there's ever been but perhaps it might explain his being wrong so often - he certainly called it wrong quite often at Wimbledon last year.

Yes, I also noticed that he makes challenges just to save some extra energy and he knows from the beginning that the call was right. Good tactics it is for sure, maybe this is the reason....

dont forget that challenge is just challenge, is just a shot, if u have some doubt. One single overrule by challenge is a big succes. other way u would lost that point...

Of course, you are right, but also bad challenge leaves you with less chances for the controversial points later in the match.

However the only one I saw wasting all her challenges early was probably only Kuznetsova vs Radwanska in 1st set. What was that? 3 bad challenges at 1-3 in first set I didn't see that in ATP, they seem to leave the challenges for the latest parts of the set, which is quite correct from the tactical point of view.
