Literally the single most ridiculous self-destruction I've ever seen (well, except for the several chokes from Escopeta Roitman and the Calleri-Koubek match). Leo was 6-4 5-3 up, and saying he gave away the match would be kind. But I give Muster so much credit for continuing to hang in, and compete, and he's improved so much from where he was when he first came back. An extremely satisfying victory for him.

Great forehand passing shot on the run to win the match.

Leo made the finals last week in another Italian event and had a 3-*0 30-0 lead over Klizan, and then self-destructed. He was in such good form and these last two matches, he simply gave away matches.

I'm more dumbfounded about this result more than anything

:worship: Thomas!
very deserved victory, after so many matchs, even though Leo didn´t put a lot of effort, but I don´t think he gave up the match at all. clearly he wasn´t happy with the situation.
paradoxically, his first win came against one of the best players he has faced in his comeback.
Fisher, here we go, revenge is so sweet...

mayer had a 15-3 record in his last four tournaments, so it is a great victory for the old man :yeah:
