Klizan had a 5-*1 30-15 lead in the first set. Hanescu tweaked his left knee early in the match, but overall it didn't seem to impair him much. Klizan is similar to Bellucci with less serve and a better backhand and movement. There wasn't much Victor could do. He competed well and had his chances but Klizan saved 5/7 break points, virtually all with aggressive play and Klizan dictated the entire match. Hanescu's iconic one-handed BH wasn't a big factor in the match, since Klizan countered with huge forehands off of it often.

Klizan is up to #96 with this win and is likely to make the MD's of Roland Garros and Wimbledon now. Look out for this Slovakian. He's extremely confident, he's got his head on straight, he's young, and he could be going places.
