After last week in Miami, this is an extremely deflating loss for Arnaud. He was very motivated and looked to use the momentum in Miami to have a big result here. Evans won almost all the big points, hit first serves and several aces in critical moments throughout the match, as well as did damage on return against Arno's second serve. Clement had a 3-0 and break point for *4-0 lead in the second set, and Evans erased all of this and nearly won six straight games before Arno held for 4-*5. Evans double faulted on match point and saved a couple deuces before winning.

Big win for the young Brit, but still a bad result for Clement and the tournament overall.

Tennis lost here.
Really ! You would rather a journeyman who,s career is nearly over win over a 21 year old prospect who has got a long career ahead of him , and has already won a Challenger ! Bet if Duckworth or Mitchell won this match , you,d be crowing over it !
