4 points lost on serve. 59% of points won on return. 54-22 points differential.

Yes, he was playing lightweight Cipolla. But this is the type of performance fans of Igor have been waiting for, for a long time. This is what he's capable of doing. He's had a pretty good year on clay in 2012. It would be great to see if this is the start of he translating that to hardcourt.

did you happen to watch Volandri against your favourite Robert, Filo?

I did, he played a mediocre match. He'll probably lose to Klizan in the finals if he doesn't improve. And I hate Robert's game, extremely awkward in everything he does.

I agree, how that guy reached top 70 is beyond me

and probably worst loss of Berdych career at RG

Sneaking up on opponents. It's easy to take for granted someone like Robert. But when players start taking you seriously, that's when your real level is exposed. We see this with challenger players yearly. Robert's forehand is dismal and his constant hugging the baseline on defense movement is borderline embarrassing.

Berdych is a head-case, the pressure got to him playing someone who was motivated from the home crowd, and he got extremely tired and could barely play in the 4th and 5th sets. One of the top 3 worst losses in his career, but Tomas has some bad history in RG.
