Broken in the first game of the match, the Kokk needed 16 break points to break twice in this marathon. [2h: 30min]

at *5-5 in the third set, Thanasi missed 3 bp (0-40).

Still, he broke Roberto's serve after this meltdown.

Serving for the match he blew 2MP (*40-15), but took the third, thanks to a long return from Roberto.

Into the SF against Zopp.

Should win this CH, considering that the other SF is De Bakker vs. Eysseric.

Winning everything today, is Kokk. First the Stakhs burn, and now his QF as well. :) Hope he wins the title.

Was always on his racquet, but he made hard work of it.

He was becoming a little whiny and petulant at all his missed chances which made the French crowd turn on him a little.

Highlight was definitely those sweet drop shots he was landing and his ability to dictate on the forehand wing. As Paolo said, his forehand will really torch some guys in the coming years.

His backhand and court movement can definitely do with some improving though.

Last challenger tournament of Thanasi probably

Good win against spaniard claycourter like Carballes. Kokk deserved the win... and he was awake at 7.00 watching Clippers' match

Glad he got the win, starts to consolidate his top 100 status, now at 92 live. If wins the tournament, will be around 89.

Kokk, Zverev and Chung all still going in challengers this week though, so the rest of the young guns are starting to catch up again with Borna... In fact Chung now higher than Coric in the race at 38 (v 50).

Probably not the Kokk's last challenger though - entered for Manchester to ease himself onto the green stuff (not his favoured surface, he skipped it altogether last year to finish off high school work!).
