Quite a messy match in terms of quality from both players. Almagro having quite the off day, had a break in the second but returned it after a tight game. Klizan's defensive pushing on a lot of long rallies controlled by Almagro led to Almagro making quite a lot of UEs, especially on the FH wing. That was the separating factor in the TB particularly.

Klizan might make it all the way to the finals now. Next up: Haider-Maurer or Dzumhur.

That was the best match that Klizan played this year, IMO. Very solid. Absolutely massive win, even though Almagro didn´t play his best. But he´s still a great player in a great form, what a win for Klizan. Didn´t see this coming at all.

Almagro just can't find his game since he came back from injury.

Klizan is obviously a good player, but he doesn't matches up well against one-handers. Today he only had to wait for Almagro to self destruct though.

Agree. Klizan is usually the aggresser but was pushing and defending as Almugro was giving him errors everywhere.

Still Klizan should take the title and move closer to being the new top 10
