I know that Dancevic is almost 23, but I still think he can improve a lot. He has such a good game and makes such incredible shots that i feel if he works on his consistency and stops making stupid errors, he can make the top 20.
He wouldn't be the first guy to develop later than most and really take his game to a higher level.

Top 50, yes he definately has a chance, top 20, probably not as I don't think that he's quite good enough, but obviously I really hope that he proves me wrong.

I agree with you. With consistency, he will definitely be in top 50 but he doesn't have a special weapon, like a big forehand, a great backhand, can run down everyball, big serve, etc to be a constant top 20.

I think his serve can be considered a special weapon.. It's so good! His net game is also very good..

Top20??? I don't think so, but top50 is surely possible with some occasional great wins...

Many players can serve 130mph first serve these days. Yes, he has pretty good serves but not outstanding like Karlovic or Roddick. As I said, he actually has a pretty good all around game (except moving on clay I believe :tape: )

I would not be surprised if he does it...
He has a classy game, very complete.
Would be a good thing for tennis.

Lol, the typical national syndrome.

Guccione does well in Australia, a thread is made asking if he is Top 20 material.

Dancevic does well in North America, a thread is made asking if he is Top 20 material.

Actually, not.

Dancevic has a lot more going for him than Guccione. BTW, Guccione only had 1 good week .

Dancevic has been waiting to break out for a while.

When Guccione beated Nadal in Sydney he looked like God in here.
Didn't he win by retirement?

no, i heard during Indy, that he never won a back to back matches before that week.
I'm not sure that he had on the ATP, whether he will start though is different, cos now he's done it 2 tournaments in a row :p

He should get to the top 50 I think, he's got a pretty good all around game and a very great serve (47 aces in 3matches ) I don't know if he will get to the top 20 but he should get near of it at least ;)
