Outside of clay, I don't think it's matter of debate knowing Nadal's mediocre results for almost year now.

Can you see current Fed beating current Nadal on clay? Let's keep bo5 out of equation but what do you think about bo3?

I doubt it. Maybe if Jesus Fed appears then in a best of 3, he *might* win. Otherwise, no.

90% Nadal 10% Fed.

Nadal is not going to play at his current level against Federer. Remember AO 14 when he was mugging around with Dimitrov but played like a GOAT in the SF.

Dull trolled soooo hard that entire tournament.

And I think that's a great point. He'd somehow find ridiculous form out of nowhere.

Can Nadal beat current Federer on grass?
Answers for both questions is the same: NO.

Federer doesn't survive until hypothetical match vs. Nadal on clay.

This. He can beat current Nadal on clay but Nadal would not play the same way so it's a mute argument.

No, As he ages, Federer somewhat altered his game to have even more net play, if he missed a first serve, or got a deep return, he will lose the point 70%of time, he just don't want trade ground strokes. Unless he practice his baseline game in Istanbal, he is not going very far in RG.

Oh, so the argument doesn't speak?

It's "moot," people. Also you typically say "moot point," not "moot argument." And definitely not "mute" argument.

On ultra-low bouncing HC indoors he might have a chance...
